cool thing :)

| It is interesting to see that Amarok, according to you, is using fake
| timestamps. The ipodscrobbling function of the opensource LastFM client
| is able to read the real timestamps from the ipod internal database as
| far as I saw when I studied their code.
I think you can't read the timestamp of every track played on the ipod,
since only the last time a song was played is saved. If you play the
same song twice, it won't remember, when you heard it before. But the
playcount is increased, so with faked timestamps you could submit every
as often as it was played.

| Also the "getting date of last song scrobbled to last.fm" part is not
| necessary, since the lastfm protocol has a (not publicly documented but
| existing) portable device switch that allows scrobbling tracks before
| the last scrobbled song timestamp without triggering spam protections.
Oh that's cool, didn't know that, I just saw the spam protection
triggered several times.

| Anyway, could you add your comment to the mentioned bug? Would be very
| helpful. :)
Yeah, sure.

Bye
Martin
