I'm wrote the code to address this issue last night :). It's still under construction - should make its way into trunk in some form soon.

The way it's currently implemented there would have to be multiple
migrations scripts - which would mean you'd have to execute every one.
Saving the revision would mean you could determine which scripts needed
to be run and which are not necessary anymore.
