Whichever his distribution uses neither are supported. IIRC there was
some limited Gnome VFS code up until a few months ago but was removed in
anticipation of a GIO implementation. The alternative in the mean-time
would be using a fuse mount point.

Still no response from LGM if that is what the situation is but that is
my assumption.
