…or even “-Wextra”, but this throws *loads* of errors, mostly -Wunused-parameter, 
-Wmissing-field-initializers, -Wimplicit-fallthrough and -Wignored-qualifiers.  Fixing the unused parameter 
warnings would be simple, though, by just adding “G_GNUC_UNUSED”.  Not sure if this will inhibit real flaws, 
though.
