Window-in-window MDI idea

How about suggesting that an app which wants to create a window-in-window MDI
workspace creates a new desktop and places its windows there? This allows apps
to handle WIW with existing mechanisms, and things like iconification and
window decoration will be consistent with non-MDI windows. Users who don't 
like WIW can disable this behaviour via the window manager, effectively 
getting top-level-window MDI instead, and the user is free to move a document 
window to a different workspace if desired.
