The hack with using your system password as the keyring password will
work though you also want to hook into the password changing routines to
change the keyring password whenever the system password changes.

It'll break miserably once you start using other authentication methods
(e.g. NIS password or smart card) so single sign-on is pretty much what
you want since that is needed for a host of other interesting things as
well (such as encrypted homedir to name one).

    David
