I was able to reproduce this behaviour with both 4.6.0 from FC2 and
current cvs on FC2. On Cygwin I've used the current cvs only. On FC2
I've tested under gnome-terminal and linux console - with linux consle
it didn't happen. On Cygwin I've tested with Cygwin console, rxvt
(both native windowing and X) and xterm and it happens with in all
cases. The shell is bash.
