GtkTextView/GtkTextBuffer question

Hi!
Is it possible to add text to GtkTextBuffer with some tags to have
different (eg. blue whatever) color of the background for the whole line
in GtkTextView even if we have just few characters of text displayed in
that line? I would like to have something like in GtkTreeView using
GtkListStore - lines in two different colors - but i would like to have
it in GtkTextView ;-)
