Help needed with gnome CVS

I have RH5.2 and have been trying to install over the last couple of
days
most of the gnome cvs, has anyone installed  sucessfully gnome cvs
with gtk+ cvs and gtk-engines cvs on to RH5.2?
in gnome core cvs I keep getting an error with the gnome_terminal.c
I have tryied adding libraries but I don't know what I need to add.

The modules that I have are
glib
gtk+
imlib
gtk-engines
libIDL
ORBit
gnome-libs
libvfs
libgtop
gnome-xml
gnome-http
control-center
*gnome-core
gnome-guile
gnome-admin
gnome-games
gnome-network
gnome-utils
ee
gimp
balsa

* I can't get past this area
