So would you recommend me to leave the stable 1.0.x tree??
I don't want to investigate deep into GTK+ development and want
to concentrate on my real problem.
How stable is the development release?
I could cope with some changes which require to change my code
a little bit, but I can't cope with a lot of unexpected crashs.

Would it help if I would report, which adresses mainly causes the
memory leaks? I noticed that I get a very lot of leaks (50 to 100)
but they are caused at only a few places.

Kind regards
