I see your point ... but not using gnome libs (or libgnomeui only) just for
the sake of not using it, is not all that smart ... if you can port gnomedock
into gtk and they accept it ... great ... but then there will be another
widget in libgnomeui that would be cool to be used in a vanilla gtk app ...
... I don't see that many problems with using gnome libs ... libraries are
there so that programmers don't have to reinvent the wheel all the time ...
not to mention that if you reinvent the wheel, it will take up more memory
as that will not be shared between apps ... and your executable will be
larger, you'll spend more time on it and it will not act similiar to other
such implementations ...
