I still haven't got the iso image these all three distro /: (
But I think you can try to look on the new font configuration system. 'fontconfig'
If there is a file named 'fonts.conf' under /etc/fonts or something similar,
Add a line like
   <dir>/your/additional/font/path</dir>
near the other <dir>s element.

Next, restart any apps to see that.

Note: fontconfig is a library which is responsible for managing your fonts. As long 
as font directory is specified inside "fonts.conf" (the conf. of fontconfig), ttf under 
the font directory will be scaned and cached (the meta information of fonts).
