My mistake. I'm running on a Linux system I just built, and I forgot that 
the contents of /home on the drive I moved to the new system was out of 
date. It works fine with the right file...

I see that there's a newer version of filesel.c than the one I built with; 
I'll pull over the latest and see if it gets better.
