For a tactical solution, I will see if Blackdown's and Kaffe's version
of java will work as substitutes.  I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.
If they do, then hopefully other people use them and report to us if
our build breaks in the future becuase of any issue.

For a strategic solution, antlr supports either java or C++.  I will switch
to the C++ version of it.  Java was easy to use with Vectors and
Hashtables.
Hopefully, there are easy equivalents in the STL.  Another option would
be to investigate XML as an alternative for our database entries.
