Peter,

This is bug 120659.

The problem is that AtkHyperlink, although it implements AtkAction, is not necessarily an AtkObject. This is similar to java where an AccessibleHyperlink derives from java.lang/Object and implements AccessibleAction.

As you can see from the bug report Bill is not happy about this and would prefer that clkicking on a link were done a different way.
