[gnet-dev] Re: [gnet] GNet 1.1.0 problems

Yes, Compiling Glib on windows is very confusing. I know Tor gave up on
maintaining MS VC's files and he may have finally deleted them. I would
recommend that you use the dlls Tor provided to save you some aggravation.
Even then things are confusing. On his website he has a link to an older
version (Dec '00), yet Gnet requires a newer version (Mar '01). I provide
a link for it in Gnet's readme.win32 file. I do vaguely remember also
having to download the GTK zip to get some dll and I also needed to rename
a dll to something else to get things working.
Gnet should be straight forward to compile with mingw(gcc for windows) or
MS VC. I have provided all the files that you need. You have to make a few
modifications, such as the path where glib headers are on your system for
example.
