Hej

I am playing with trying to get the IPTC/EXIF values of photos, and my
intention is to integrate this into F-Spot, so that when you import
pictures into F-Spot, a number of Tags and Categories will automatically
be created.

This would be for instance
Country, Town, Location, Copyright, Persons, Type of photo, comment,
Picture Orientation, Picture size etc etc.

For the moment I am looking at the below informations.

|
| EXIF Values
| [Exif Makernote] Make - Canon
| [Exif Makernote] Model - Canon PowerShot S50
| [Exif Makernote] Exposure Time - 1/320 sec
| [Exif Makernote] F-Number - F 3.5
| [Exif Makernote] Shutter Speed Value - 1/256 sec
|
| IPTC Values
| -Persons-
| [Iptc Makernote] Keywords - Jasmine Jade
| - Copyright
| [Iptc Makernote] By-line - Jade and Bengt Thure'e
| - Town
| [Iptc Makernote] City - Melbourne
| - Country
| [Iptc Makernote] Country/Primary Location - Australia
| - Copyright
| [Iptc Makernote] Copyright Notice - Jade and Bengt Thure'e
| - Location
| [Iptc Makernote] Unknown tag (0x025C) - Farfars apartment	- Location
| - Headline
| [Iptc Makernote] Headline - Uncle Lars and Kitchenset
| - Type
| [Iptc Makernote] Supplemental Category(s) - Ski Vacation Nature	- Type
| - Comment
| [Iptc Makernote] Caption/Abstract - We spent Jasmines 1 year birthday
at DisneyLand in Tokyo
|
| JPEG tags
| [Jpeg Makernote] Image Height - 1944 pixels
| [Jpeg Makernote] Image Width - 2592 pixels
| Orientation ?
| Picture size?

I will also try to come up with a rudimentary IPTC field viewer.

Does anyone have any comments on this?

I am using Ferret Renaud's C# library at
