[BUG-REPORT] : Error with automake-1.5/autoconf-2.53

	Hi all,
after configuring and compiling without problem (RH 7.3, 
automake-1.5/autoconf-2.13), I tried to do it with the new versions (the 
packages of which are in the RH 7.3) of automake (1.5) and 
autoconf/autoheader (2.53). Here is the errors I have seen during the 
autogen.sh :

Running automake --gnu  ...
automake: configure.in: installing `./depcomp'
/usr/share/automake-1.5/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in 
AM_CONDITIONAL

I'm sorry to be only a bug reporter here but I'm no automake/conf guru ;-)

Note that I also had several warnings, but they are explicit and easy to 
correct (not by me perhaps ;-).
