Hi,
the wiki integration stuff seem to work pretty well now, in local.
Authentication is working well enough too, even if it need to be made
more solid and there are some conflicts/differences between embedded and
not embedded.
It would be good to be able to setup a public mediawiki server
somewhere. Maybe that can be done on verbum?
I'd like to test it remotely to see if there are issues and possibly
start getting people to try it out... so that we can work out issues for
the time the real public server will be available.
On the longer time, what are the plans for live.gnome.org integration?
In particular we used mediawiki but live.gnome.org seem to be using
MoinMoin... what's up there?
Btw I implemented a quick html export functionality (try to
open /yarrr/export.jsp, you will need manager u/p). I hope it will be
useful to deal with the likely changing database... since it save
comments and chat log in plain html. If we make the old db export
available, wiki pages could just include/link these (maybe we can even
setup something automatic...).
Marco
