Definitely fixed in recent releases, 2.4.19 and libxslt 1.0.15 you are
using were released on Mar 25 2002, in 3 years libxslt has been improved
tremendously, I suggest you upgrade to a recent version, see
ftp://xmlsoft.org/
for RPMS and sources, also you should upgrade libxml2 and libxslt together.
