I botched that last question so I see why it was confusing.  I forgot to mention
that I would apply a different stylesheet to the new intermediate tree before
doing the output.  Bottom line is that you can apply multiple transformations
before outputting, right?

Thanks much for the help.  I'll let you know how it goes.

  No because it seems you intend to have the generated code being encapsulated
in the existing document, not the way around.
