Nope, they don't. And I have no intention to exchange one buggy
behaviour in fvwm for another buggy behaviour. Without some
mechanism to detect this, the chance to at least get the same
behaviuor in all halfway popular wms is zero.

Well, we got more complaints about different applications. I have
forgotten which and I am too lazy to check the fvwm ailing list
