Hi,

One thing I forgot is the issue of the window size/position unique ID
hint (for saving positions of windows within a session, or saving
positions across sessions for windows that are not actually in the
session).

I was just reading about this in the Mac Human Interface Guidelines so
I may prototype a spec in Metacity and post what I come up with.
