There is a BitKeeper tree that Greg keeps, but I would just use the
latest release (025 as I write this, I believe).

If it is reasonably new, I don't see why not.

gnome-volume-manager is g-v-m proper, naturally.  To build it you need
libgnomeui, libglade, HAL, and D-BUS.
