Hi,
I have a question regarding pmount and gnome-volume-manager. I searched,
but I could not find any informations on the internet. At the moment I
use gnome-volume-manager with the fstab-sync script on a gentoo linux
system. However I find the pmount solution much "cleaner" as it doesn't
touch my /etc/fstab. So I removed fstab-sync and installed pmount and it
seems to work fine (e.g. pmount /dev/sda1, pmount-hal
/org/freedesktop/... does work fine). The problem is that gvm doesn't
use pmount (no mount point is created and so the device doesn't get
mounted). Do I need to compile gvm with special options to recognize
pmount? Can somebody help me please?
Thanks in advance,
Thomas Gufler
