Good day, usability folks.
Here is the problem that is, to my mind, underestimated: we have a Trash
on some media, and some people think that causes more trouble than
profit. The point is a user doesn't care of the Trash often, and the
media gets full quickly. So one day a user tries to copy another file to
it, and oops, the disk is full, although there are no files on it.
The bug is http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108413 , it is
rather old, but nothing has been done - I suppose, because of the lack
of attention to it. So I draw your attention, and it would be quite
interesting to learn, which (or what) way of solving the problem is better.
