Maybe you never play games or watch videos or listen to music
with visualization? :-)
It would probably make more sense for Totem to disable the
screensaver while it's running, same with other programs,
but the mechanism to do that isn't altogether clear right now.

There are more use cases for disabling the screensaver that I can see
than for stopping it from locking.
