[Usability] System monitor and cpu usage

Hey all,

I recently filed a bug about the system-monitor showing zero in the
CPU usage column before the numbers were computing. While this is a
minor bug, it led me to believe for the longest time that the system
monitor actually had the bug that it couldn't show my cpu usage.

There was a long discussion and it was revealed that it was not
currently possible. However, the bug the recently closed as NOTABUG.

So I figured I would raise it here and ask for other opinions on the matter.
