[Usability] Save / open dialogs (no file name entry)

Hi,

It seams like many softwares have removed the entry where you could
input a file name (including path) via the keyboard from their save and
load dialogs. Gimp and Glade are just two examples.

For those happy mouse users out there that might lead to less confusion.
However for keyboard users (like me) that is a big disappointment, that
you MUST use the mouse to browse to file far a way. Now, in glade for
example, you cant even press a key to jump to the first file that begins
with that letter.

I can't understand how it is possible to remove the file name entry, if
you care about usability. But I might have missed something.
