/me loves this idea. I's much better than just fiddling about with the applications menu.
Application should not be like a desktop environment unto themselves.
OT: I started wondering if I'd gone mad recently when I decided that
having a file slector at all is just a workaround for having a broken
file manager/desktop envornment.
