On both Windows and OS/2, to change the font used in some part of the
interface:
1) Open the thing to change appearance.
2) Select the part of the interface to change.
(By clicking on its preview or from a list.)
3) Change the font (or a few other things) in the
part of the window that has controls for that.
4) Apply the changes.
Exactly what changes appearance and how changes are applied is different,
but that there is:
1) a preview showing most interface elements,
2) a list showing those and others not shown in the preview, and
3) some controls to change fonts, colors, and sizes for the
selected element
is the same on both.
Both also afford saving sets of appearance data as "themes" or schemes",
depending on where you look.
