Where on the desktop would the templates 'live'? In their own folder, in a
menu, somewhere else?
It's my experience with the Templates folder in OS/2's WPS that it's hard
to discover. It's not automatically clear to a user what templates are
for, and how to use them, so it will have to be very obvious somehow.

What I did find very useful in the WPS was a kind of 'shortcut' around the
templates folder; you can right click any object and select 'create
another' from the context menu. Perhaps this idea is even realizable with
GNOME 2.x.
