Categories sounds much better.

Reason for this is so that we CAN do queries. It doesn't mean that you'll
have to have menus for all those things. Normally there would be a single
menu Games which would query for everything with the Game category (see I'm
already using it) But say I'm a platform game freak and want all platform
games in a separate menu so I'd have
All Games (QUERY: Application AND Game AND NOT GamePlatform)
Platform Games (QUERY: Application AND Game AND GamePlatform)
Normal folks would have just:
Games (QUERY: Application AND Game)
Because every game should have the 'Game' among the categories.
