Hello,
Commenting recently in an Ubuntu forum,
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=608675&highlight=gpa
I have been asked why I have installed and why I am using
*both* gpa (Gnu Privacy Assistant) and seahorse.
The following URL may interest you for future wishes in the
development of seahorse.
Its a little comparison of gpa and seahorse
and the reasons why I installed both.

Regarding the whishes for future development of seahorse,
the essentials are :
- - the possibility to verify a signature (.sig file)
- - eventually, the possibility to specify the type of signature you want
to create (binary, armoured, etc)
- - the possibility to export/backup one or more private keys to an ascii
file.
Hope this helps,
regards
marc
