Final fix for 1.3 shading bugs.

After 8 hours of glorious sleep, I had an epiphany ... I'm an idiot. 
The fallback stuff was working just peachy, I just wasn't mapping the
right types (shaped-utility as opposed to shaded-utility)

Attached is what i consider the "final" fix for this problem.
