[Rhythmbox-devel] rhythmbox crashes when getting dbus method getSongProperties

doing the command below causes rhythmbox to crash:

dbus-send --print-reply
--dest=org.gnome.Rhythmbox /org/gnome/Rhythmbox/Shell
org.gnome.Rhythmbox.Shell.getSongProperties string:'file:///some/file'

the error message in the console is this:
RhythmDB-ERROR **: file rhythmdb.h: line 303
(rhythmdb_entry_get_string): should not be reached
aborting...
