Hi, The Rhythmbox iPod support only works with an iPod from Apple (or HP I guess), it won't work with any other mp3 player. If you tried it with another portable player, that's normal it didn't work. With an iPod, there shouldn't be any configuration needed, Rhythmbox should detect it automatically as soon as it is plugged. Hope that helps, Christophe Le jeudi 09 décembre 2004 à 14:27 +0100, Patrick Marquetecken a écrit : > Hi, > > I din't find this in the FAQ, or on the website so ... > How does Rhythmbow works with iPod only ore with others also, i have installed Rhythmbox 0.8.7 on my Gentoo with Gnome 2.8 laptop and i have the ipod icon. > > I dit today a small & fast test, but nothing works for the ipod. > I had a usb stick on /devs/da1 and the harddisk of a mp3 player on /dev/sdb but how do i configure it ? there a no menu's or settings for the ipod. > > TIA > Patrick > > _______________________________________________ > rhythmbox-devel mailing list > rhythmbox-devel gnome org > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/rhythmbox-devel > >
