Okay, I'll bite -- I do this all the time. ;) I have some script/alias combinations that I use from my laptop, to change songs or get information from my workstation. A lot of times, I can't see the screen, which isn't a problem, since I can hear the song. I would love to have RB be more scriptable on the command line, down to things like switching playlists or doing searches. So, personally, I would rather see a --shuffle/--no-shuffle pair, than a command-line toggle (and even better, a way to get the current state so you could easily implement your own toggler). -- Joe Wreschnig <wres0003@umn.edu>
