[Rhythmbox-devel] Re: rhythmbox not playing ogg vorbis files

Here is some additional information about my setup.

I am running Redhat 9 and installed the RPM version.

flac-1.1.0-fr3.i386.rpm
libid3tag-0.15.0b-3.fr.i386.rpm
libmusicbrainz-2.0.1-0.dag.rh90.i386.rpm
rhythmbox-0.5.3-0.dag.rh90.i386.rpm

Everything else is stock redhat 9.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have rhythmbox 0.5.3 installed.  I tried to play my
ogg vorbis files but the program pops up a window that
says, "This is not a vorbis file."  So I tried to
download a sample vorbis file from the ogg vorbis
website.  Same problem.  rhythmbox said, "This is not
a vorbis file."

Please help.  I like how rhythmbox is laid out but
will have to move on if I can't get this to work.
