This morning checkout too :-)
BUT 'cause all gstreamer-0.7.x apps have the '-0.7' prefix (well, I
suppose) there are some troubles if you remove gstreamer-0.6.x from the
system.
You can compile rb, but ./configure says that can't find some gst-plugin
(mad, vorbis and another, but I don't remeber now). Similar behavior for
sound-juicer. :-(
If you reinstall gst*-0.6.x there are no warnings.
IMHO the trouble is in gst-element-check-0.7.m4 file from GStreamer (or
how rb and/or s-j uses this file): you can read here
"AC_CHECK_PROG(GST_INSPECT, gst-inspect, gst-inspect, [])" while I think
it should use "gst-inspect-0.7".
But I think this 'issue' came from actual hard-developing-status
PS it seems that at runtime (GNOME System Monitor -> Memory map) both rb
and s-j use 0.7 libraries
