Thanks a ton for working on this, Luca. It's very much needed. > And, of course, syntax > and grammar corrections ;-) Those are easy to fix, so don't worry about them :) > * Rhythmbox is the real name, Music Player is just a menu entry > !!! Note the authors.xml is automatically generated from the AUTHORS, MAINTAINERS, and MAINTAINERS.old in the toplevel directory, but you included it in your patch. > * Introduce the "music source" concept (-> can I define Rhythmbox > a "digital jukebox" in introduction?) That sounds reasonable, yeah. Ok, now some general comments. Could you remove the references to ID3? Generally that's a technical term the user shouldn't have to know. I'd prefer a just saying "song information" or something. Related to this, you have a paragraph where you mention "no blocking"; that's another technical term. I'd prefer to just say Rhythmbox is designed to be fast and responsive. Other than those minor quibbles, it looks good in general. > BTW are there someone that can describe to me the exact radio behavior > (prev/next, shuffle/repeat, MP3/OGG stream)? Repeat and shuffle don't make too much sense in iradio, maybe we should just grey them out. prev/next go to the previous and next station, which is only vaguely useful. > BTW what's the definition > of Internet Radio? Hard to say - I would just describe it as "streaming music" or something. At least "streaming" seems to be the popular term for this that most users will be familiar with. > <quote>To play a particular item in a music source, either select the > item and press the Play button on the toolbar, or simply double-click on > the item to start playing.</quote> > > I hope this can be fixed !!! Yeah, I'll do that soon.
