So, the issue here are that the maintainers seem to not be comfortable
with the proposed patch. If they feel it's not ready to go in, and if
we have no better patch, then it's quite possible that there won't be
a fix for it in 2.14.0. However, a 2.14.0.1 tarball can be released
with a proper fix later (and before 2.14.1).
