There's a jhbuild patch to avoid the need for this up at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=345196 (if the moduleset is
from a remote location, it allows the patches to be grabbed from that
same remote location).  I think that one may be a bit out of date;
I'll check my local copy and update it if so.
