[Planner] Pre-release, please test

Hi all,

I've just done a fair amount of fixing and changes to Planner so I would 
really appreciate to get feedback on those changes. Especially regarding 
stability, since a few bugs might have crept it. Hopefully not though :)

The pre-release can be downloaded as source from:

A list of closed bugs since the last release can be seen in the 
bugzilla. The list is not complete but at least shows that there are 
lots of improvements.
