Got it, but now getting build errors like so:

cc -c -I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include
-I/installed/ORBit-0.5.17/include/orbit-1.0
-I/installed/ORBit-0.5.17/include/libIDL-1.0 -Dbool=char -DHAS_BOOL
-I/usr/local/include -O2 -m486 -fno-strength-reduce
-DVERSION=\"0.4.6\" -DXS_VERSION=\"0.4.6\" -fpic
-I/usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i386-linux/CORE marshal.c
marshal.c: In function `put_struct':
marshal.c:192: `G_WARN_ON' undeclared (first use in this function)
marshal.c:192: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
marshal.c:192: for each function it appears in.)
marshal.c: In function `put_sequence':
marshal.c:211: `G_WARN_ON' undeclared (first use in this function)
marshal.c: In function `porbit_put_exception':
marshal.c:392: `G_WARN_ON' undeclared (first use in this function)
marshal.c: In function `put_union':
marshal.c:448: `G_WARN_ON' undeclared (first use in this function)
marshal.c: In function `put_any':
marshal.c:497: `G_WARN_ON' undeclared (first use in this function)
make: *** [marshal.o] Error 1

Where does G_WARN_ON come from? This is with RH6.2, glib-1.2.10 and the
system perl.

Cheers,
Alex.
