Any giop.c hackers out there?

Hi,

My problems with CORBA_ORB_run() crashing, as described in my previous
post, seems to stem from the fact that everything in giop.c is designed
towards having the giop main loop running in the main thread.

I am very interested in lifting this limitation, but I would appreciate
some feedback describing why this limitation exist, if there are good
reasons to keep it or how it best could be lifted if not.

I am also very interested in knowing how to run an ORBit2 ORB from a
shared library if possible at all with the current code.
