orbit2 2.10 configure problem

this problem has been posted before with no solution yet...

During the ./configure process of  ORBit2-2.10 following error appears:
checking for poptStrippedArgv in -lpopt... no
configure: error: You must have popt version 1.5 or greater installed.

My system has popt version 1.8.2.

There must be small fix possible.
