Nope - we don't fool with signals at all; (except for sigpipe - which
is a public duty to knobble ;-).

Very odd; wonder how you get a NULL servant to your own destroy method.
If you export ORBIT2_DEBUG=all you may get more interesting debug, and
if not - then you didn't re-make (from clean) having re-configured with
--enable-debug :-)
