I sucessfully use them together. Omni in a multi-threaded application and ORBit in a single-threaded one. Sometimes they fail an initial handshake, but it is a rare occurance. I'm using ORBit-0.5.15 though. I don't believe it worked with ORBit2, although I could be wrong. I have omniORB 4. -Craig.
