It's supposed to - this would be a serious bug if it didn't work;
Anyhow - thanks for the test code; it compiles and runs fine for me with
ORBit2 (HEAD) I get:
[snip]
DValue = 99.99
CORBA Double Type Testing .....
impl_Bench_doDouble : inp=9999.9, outp = 222.2, inoutp=22222.2, retval =
2.2
Results : ret = 2.2, inp = 9999.9, inoutp = 22222.2, outp = 222.2
anydouble value=99.99
TID=Traffic test
TID2=Traffic test2
unitType=20
severityType=30
alarmType=40
serviceEffect=50
granularityType=70
layerRateType=80
waveLengthId=90
unitSubType=100
AAAAAAA=9999
XXXXXXX=102
YYYYYYY=12841
date=2002-10-25
time=¥
value=0
type=Eq AID test
aidStr=Eq AID aidStr test
rackNo=11
shelfNo=12
unitNo=13
portNo=14
workingSide=t
[snip]
It seems the AnyDouble value gets across just fine; also it seems the
embedded struct fields come across just great too. Works with both HEAD
ORBit2 and 2.4.3 so ...
Regards,
Michael.
